I began attending Lebanon Valley Bible in 1993 when I came to realize my need for Christ and the forgiveness He grants to those who believe. I was slow to grow in my Walk with Christ as a new believer. I met my wife in 2000 and we both started to attend the focus SS class and made great friends. As a couple we were growing not only closer to one another but closer to Christ as well.
After being married in 2001 Ruthanne and I went on to have 3 children, Hunter, Allie, and Wyatt. Hunter and Allie are currently studying at Word of life Bible Camp in New York and Wyatt is a Junior at Annville Cleona High. My involvement in church life was increasing and I began to help in various ways in ministries and started to help teach the kids in awana.
When our Church went through some hard times as a body I knew I needed to help fill in gaps left in ministries and I started up the mens ministry called A.I.M. which still is going today led by John Snavely. I was asked to serve on the Board of Deacons and after my term finished there I was again asked to serve on the Elder Board for a 4 year term as well. After the retirement of my great friend and Pastor (John Hunt) I was asked to lead the Navigator 2:7 class on wednesday nights which I continue to do today. I am humbled to serve the body of Christ here at LVBC and strive to please Christ each day. In these challenging times we live in today it’s more important then ever to keep firmly planted in the Word of God not only as His children but as His Church!
